For the sake of your teeth, cut down on your sugar intake! These types of foods can damage teeth. When you do consume this type of food, make sure to accompany it with lots of water. Brushing your teeth immediately after consuming sugary foods may also mitigate the damage.

Brush your teeth regularly. At a minimum, you should be brushing twice daily, and after every meal is recommended. Brush for three minutes each time making sure to get the surface of every tooth clean. Never brush your teeth too roughly and always use a toothpaste that contains fluoride. Floss between teeth after you brush, for best results.

Look for whitening strips and clean your teeth often if you want to have whiter teeth. Be sure to not keep the strips on for longer than the recommended time. Keep in mind that using whitening products too often can damage your teeth.

Choose a toothpaste with fluoride. This builds your teeth, to keep them from developing cavities, breaking, or undergoing other problems. When you have strong teeth, it means you have healthy teeth.
