If you’re pregnant and you eat a bad food, or contract an illness that makes you have diarrhea, drink a lot of fluids. While diarrhea can lead to dehydration, this is especially dangerous for women who are pregnant and may require hospitalization.

Do not use hot tubs or saunas while you are pregnant. High temperatures are not good for your pregnancy. Some spas may use oils that are known to cause early contractions. Avoid juniper and rosemary at all times during your pregnancy.

You must notify your doctor if you notice extensive vaginal discharge during pregnancy. You could have a vaginal infection, which is common during pregnancy. However, if it isn’t treated, it can become a serious problem.

Birth Plan

Set aside some time to write down your birth plan. Your birth plan should cover expectations of others that help with the delivery. Pack your back with your insurance information, a camera, your pre-registration paperwork, the birth plan and some clothes for your baby to come home in.
